Trade Tracker

Every trade since 2002, graded two ways.

A complete ledger of 1,675 trades, 2002–2026. Every traded pick is resolved recursively to the player it became; a pick that was itself traded again is followed to the end of the chain. We score each side both the day of the deal (capital given up) and with hindsight (value the picks actually delivered).

Capital given up = Fitzgerald-Spielberger (OTC) surplus value of the picks a side acquired — known the day of the trade. Value delivered = career AV the drafted players actually produced for that team, resolved recursively through every pick. Trades under three seasons old are marked too early — the picks haven't had time to pay off. A veteran acquired in a deal carries no chart value and isn't scored in delivered value, so a side that traded picks for a star reads light here by design.
